Uptown Chunk was founded out of a dedicated love for baking, sharing and sampling fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies. Ann Bollesen
I am a passionate, bordering on obsessive, baker. Thanks to a supportive family, I’ve been testing different recipes since I was old enough to hold a whisk. For me, cookies are a favourite to make and share — a universally beloved treat!
I’ve enjoyed living and baking in various climates and elevations around the world, always fascinated with different methods for creating the slightly crispy yet moist and fluffy cookie. A former teacher, I loved sharing lessons exploring science and maths concepts using baking themes (and of course, bringing my creations with me to work). There’s so much to learn and love about cookies!

We believe in the simple beauty of cookies. They are uncomplicated and undeniably delicious, perfectly sweet but not overly rich. We work with premium local ingredients and bake in small batches to ensure you always get a fresh and moist cookie filled with favourite mix-ins, such as chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon.
